Get Involved to Stop Foreclosure
Education is the key to foreclosure prevention and it is working!
Operation Restoration, a free national non-profit mission, has created new online education, based on actual case resolution, which has stopped foreclosures nationally with 99% success rate. We have been reported on local FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS, WSB Radio, Star 94 Radio.
• Education helps people to make informed decisions which leads to their regaining
control over life circumstances.
Your help is critically needed to feed this education to our nation! Thank you for wanting to make a difference in the lives of others.
Our need is to market this material nationally as quickly as possible.
Voluteers are needed for the following projects:
List of Get Involved Needs:
1. For Search Engine Optimization: The projects listed here are critical and the most important as they will cause the website and blog to move to #1 page ranking in Google, Yahoo, and other search engines.
(Training is provided and projects can be handled in 1-2 hour increments. There are 2 types of help needed: Administrative and Editing/Writing.)
• Administative: We provide links and GI member needed to enter keywords.
Need: ongoing.
• Administrative: RSS feed submission to 250 RSS directories. (copy and paste)
1/2 hour training. Need: one time.
• Administrative: Identify top news reporters writing on foreclosures and create
distribution list for press releases.
• Writer: Blog Commenting (we would teach and give locations)
• Writer: Comment on news articles - purpose: direct reporters to OR material which
addresses subject.
• Writer: Article writing (re-write of our material - we would provide keywords for
topics)
• Writer: Join forums and comment in forums using keywords (we would give forums
and sample comments)
• Electronic newsletter - develop, using existing template and current material.
• Editor: Compile ebook using existing pages and material. PDF format.
• Podcast reader: Create podcasts from our current material and save to MP3 for
upload.
2. Social media
• Administative (knowledge of Social Media helpful)
Maintain Facebook Fan page and obtain fans.
Maintain Linked In Organization page and invite business connections.
Twitter - Twitter following strategy (we will give contacts)
3. Engage Veteran groups - O.R. has a lesson specifically for Veterans. This is not published anywhere else on the internet. The Veteran group has the highest foreclosure rate, by ratio, because V.A. loans do not follow regular formulas. The dissemination of this information is critical.
• Administrative: Contact list of Veteran associations to share Operation Restoration
education and website. Ask to have Operation Restoration placed on their
websites.
4. Fund Letter and Follow Up
• Administative: GI Member needed to travel to Hurt Building (local Atlanta) to
record list of foundations (there is a Foundation directory) that give for
a) disaster relief, or b) homelessness, or c) veterans, or d) children and families.
• Writer: Change fund letter to direct it toward foundation or celebrity's cause and
send out.
5. Public Relations
• Writer: Comment on news articles - purpose: direct reporters to OR material which
addresses subject.
• Writer: Weekly press releases- we have template. Submit to PR outlets.
Need: ongoing
• Administrative: Identify top news reporters writing on foreclosures and create
distribution list for press releases.
6. Provide one-on-one (via phone) guidance to Borrowers
• Involves learning online material extremely well so that volunteer can guide Borrowers
through the education and tools on the website.
